They’re always playing together (Nat making sure to be extra gentle) and Wanda’s always waking up from her nap to Nat fast asleep and practically on top of her in an attempt to cuddle, she grumbles about it but everyone knows she loves it (r took a photo of them once often and it’s their phones Lock Screen). From then on they’re inseparable, r often joking that she got Wanda for Nat and not them self. Nat bringing Wanda her favourite stuffie to make her feel better before taking Wanda’s hand and bringing her into her cage (which is a big deal because it’s HER cage that master got especially for her) and protectively curling herself around Wanda, chin over Wanda’s shoulder and face practically smooshing Wanda’s face into the ground but Wanda doesn’t care because Nat’s forgiven her and she feels so safe and warm in Nat arms that she can’t help but start purring. Nat realising that her kitty is just tiny and sensitive and that she needs to be gentle with her. Until one night Wanda has a bad nightmare while r’s still out on a mission, Nat waking up to Wanda shaking and crying while curled up in her spot at the end of r’s bed. Wanda even tried to get Nat to play despite still being scared but Nat just ignores her. Wanda didn’t mean to get Nat in trouble she was just scared but now Nat won’t talk to her and spends most of her time either pouting or glaring at her.
This gets Nat in trouble with r and from then on she decides she doesn’t want a kitty anymore, getting insecure and wondering why she wasn’t enough for her master. Wait what about kitty!Wanda AND puppy!Nat at first they don’t really get along - Nat’s always trying to get Wanda to play with her and at first she’s interested but then Nat gets too rough and makes Wanda cry.
